Karate-do (Karate) is a martial discipline of personal self-protection that originated on Okinawa. Karatedo uses methods of precision striking, kicking, and body movement to neutralize an attack. Karate is the foundational discipline upon which all Kaido Ryu training starts from and returns to.*
Kempo (Chuan'fa in Chinese) is a Japanese martial art of Chinese origin that like Karate utilizes methods of precision striking, kicking, and body movement to neutralize an attack. Kempo, often considered an ancestral art to Karate, places a strong emphasis on practical self-protection skills.
Kobudo is a classical martial discipline of ancient weapons and tactics originating from China and Japan. "The best way to prepare for the future is to learn the lessons of the past".
Aikibudo is a martial discipline of harmonious action utilizing technical elements of Jujitsu, Aikijutsu, and Aikido. Originating in Japan, it uses joint locks, holds, and throws to neutralize an attack.
Iaido is a classical Japanese martial discipline of the samurai sword. Iaido is an elegant and graceful art that teaches traditional methods and tactics of sword fighting that start from a sheathed position.
